Rella Records was dreamed up fairy-tale fashion in 2003 by NYC-based
singer-songwriter Larissa Jaye, as the musical division of her
creative arts production company, Raw Umberella Productions.
Now in its eighth calendar year, Rella is thrilled to announce the long-awaited release of Jaye’s
first full-length studio album, New Leaves Over, which spent approximately six years in production before earning its ceremonial birth date of December 31, 2009.
Embodying the theme of her debut, Jaye's follow-up comes right on its heels, with the unexpected March 2010 release of her even newer EP, Fearless. Jaye's executive producer for this project is best-selling author and Emmy-award winning life coach Rhonda Britten, who can currently be seen as the newest addition to the support team on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club. Fearless features the official theme song of Britten's Fearless Living franchise, and is being introduced as part of her 2010 Fearless America Tour.
Both New Leaves Over and Fearless were preceded by Jaye's 2006 special edition benefit single, "All
This Empty Sky," which originally served to commemorate the five-year anniversary of 9/11.
Rella Records, also home to Jaye’s publishing company, Baby Rellaphant
Music (ASCAP), is currently in exclusive association with Larissa Jaye. Jaye is a five-time recipient of the ASCAPLUS Award, which recognizes and supports promising writers in the early stages of their careers.
